The World Lacks Balance

Gah! I feel like my brain is atrophying!
All I’ve done today is work on verifying the library catalogue. The sheer boringitude of this work is possibly on par with what I spent the majority of my internship at RAVE doing way back in... um, 2004 I think - I was given the fascinating job of inputting ALL the articles from past magazines into their online archive.

And now, here I sit, 6 years later, doing pretty much the exact same thing!
Ok, not really. But you have to admit, verifying that the books we have in the catalogue are actually in the library, and vice versa, comes fairly close.

So what I want to know is... where the hack is my bleeping intern!

No seriously!
We of the content team have been slaving over this mind numbing/scream producing job in every spare moment we have between planning our schedules/processes and getting a framework into place for this entire year (oh, and have I mentioned that we’re supposed to be launching the website that we’re in charge off on July 19? Not exactly like we’re wallowing in time here!)

Never have I missed an overly enthusiastic, butt-kissing, scut-work doing college kid more.
