A New Year

It’s actually pretty well into Jan already, but I couldn’t come up with any other title.
Just bored I guess.

A Tarot card reader came to work the other day. She’s friends with one of the people who works here. Quite a few of us actually went in to get our cards read. It was pretty interesting on the whole. I had excellent cards, although she did tell me that I probably should have stuck with my original career choice. Which she followed up by saying that if I switch back, or want to learn anything new, I should make sure that I do before I turn 26, so I have quite a bit of time. And anyway, I’m not really sure how much I believe in this stuff. Not that I think its bogus or anything… no point in tempting fate right?

So, on the work front. Apparently my confirmation should come through soon, and even if it doesn’t, all changes will be applicable from this month. Which is fine by me. More on this later. Probably when things are a bit more settled and I can say more then suppositions.
We have a content team conference next week. We, the content teams from all over India, are all going to Chikmagalur on Thursday, for two days of presentations. We’ll be staying at the Taj, so once the presentations end at 6:30, I’m guessing a whole bunch of us are going to head straight for the pool.
Unless it’s cold.
Which, considering its Chikmagalur, I’m pretty sure it will be.
Not that I really mind. Swimming when its freezing is fun – just as long as you can go have a nice hot bath immediately after.

Ok, now I think I shall leave work… was only hanging around to put up a feature, which I have now done. So bye!
